Jason’s Hill Private Cellar, tucked away in the heart of the Boland at the foot of the Slanghoek mountains. Magnificent views of mountains and vineyards, the home of award-winning wines and friendly people, this is where Ivy du Toit, young female winemaker, keeps alive the tradition of vine growing and wine making for the 5th generation in the Du Toit family. With its fertile soil and excellent climate the very best of grapes are produced for making these outstanding wines.

The Jason’s Hill Hiking Trail starts behind the cellar and takes hikers into into the magnificent Slanghoek mountains with an unspoiled view of the breathtaking vineyard covered vallley.

The 6.5km route takes three to four hours to complete and offers sufficient resting spots and fresh water.

Please note:

•All hikers are to register and sign an indemnity form at the Tasting room or Bistro before starting their hike.
• No hikers will be allowed to start the trail after 1pm.
•For safety reasons a minimum of two persons are allowed.
•Children younger than 16 years must be accompanied by their parents.

In this country cottage style shop you will find anything from homemade cookies, preserves and sweet treats to wooden photo frames, trays and hooks, unique aprons for the modern cook, stylish linen napkins and kitchen cloths, traditional enamel kitchen accessories, garden décor and homemade soaps and bath products.

Every product has been selected by hand by Ivy (Senior) and daughter Lize.
